Fovarosi (Capital City) Baptist Church of Budapest
welcomes English speakers to come and worship with us.
International students and families from around the world live, study
and work in Budapest. Fovarosi Baptist Church offers a warm, welcoming
atmosphere with Christ-honoring music and solid Bible preaching. Our
interpreters will enable you to understand the preaching at every
service.

The church meets every Sunday at 10:00 a.m. for worship.
On Tuesday at 18:00 night we meet for practical Bible studies and prayer.
Other ministries include Sunday School for all ages, children's ministries,
regular youth fellowship meetings and discipleship Bible studies for those
who are interested. Our services are in both Hungarian and English.
Fövárosi Baptist Church is an independent Baptist church.
Pastor Jim Knies brings 26 years of pastoral experience to the church after
serving in the United States, Malaysia and in Pécs, Hungary.
The planting of Fövárosi Baptist Church of Budapest comes out of his vision for
the millions of spiritually needy souls in Budapest and throughout Hungary.
We want to minister to people of all ages regardless of their background,
circumstances, nationality or religion.
Fövárosi Baptist Church seeks to glorify God by making and maturing
disciples of Jesus Christ through the faithful preaching and teaching of the
Word of God and through fellowship and encouragement from other Christians.
